Another Long Car Ride...

Polly got to tag along with us for another long car ride to the vet. Her foster sister Bunny the kitten had an upset tummy, so Polly kept her company in the passenger seat.

But it was a very long drive, so they both took a nap...

Polly sure loves her kitties. :)

Polly Perch

One more post about little Polly! She is perching on the ottoman! He he.

Learning the Ropes

Polly has been a very good girl and is already starting to get the hang of being a pampered pet! We go outside first thing in the morning and she quickly does her business so that she can come back inside for pets! (Please forgive all of the nose smears on our window. We have lots of pups!)

Then it's breakfast time! Polly is a great eater. She would be happy to share all of her food though and is very sweet with the other dogs and us people.

Then it's play time! This is little Polly's happy face. It is hysterical.

She is even cuter in action...

After playtime, it's cuddle time! She loves hanging out on the couch and getting cozy with me and the other pups. She is an absolute love.

Road Trip!

Unfortunately, some of my kittens weren't feeling very well so little Polly got to tag along to the vet with us. Polly has been wonderful with the cats and kittens at our house. She laid down next to the carrier to watch the little ones and keep them safe for our drive.

It takes us about an hour and a half to get to the vet's office and little Polly was a great car rider. She sat nicely on her side of the car and gave me finger licks when I reached over to pet her.

She is a doll and totally travel size!

When I met Polly...

I met Polly a few months ago. She had come to the rescue from Puerto Pico with her sister Molly. They were both a touch shy and overwhelmed at our crazy adoption events so I put them down on my foster list. Molly got adopted, but shy little Polly was still looking for a home when I ran into her at the Seven Corners Petsmart event. My foster Soly had just gotten adopted and when I saw Polly, I knew it was her turn to come home with us!

She was nervous at the event, but you'd see little glimmers of happy here and there like her adorable frog legs! I love when dogs do the frog legs!

We all packed into the car (we have kitten fosters too!) and Polly sat on my lap with her sweet little head on my shoulder. I was in love again...

When we got home, Polly got to meet all of our pups - a bossy terrier, a shy shepherd, and a goofy pit bull. She handled all of the attention well and became fast friends with our pack. After a few minutes to settle in, Miss Polly became my tiny shadow. She followed me everywhere wagging her little nubbin tail. She has already started to open up and I can't wait to watch her grow into a confident pup this week!
